Remembering Michael MacAdams
Michael “Mac” MacAdams was an integral leader for Youth With Faces for more than five years, serving as our Board Chairman, steward and chief advocate. He truly personified selfless devotion to our students, staff and the community – instilling the values and commitment to community that the organization strives to achieve every day.
Distinguishing himself as a tireless advocate for disenfranchised youth in the North Texas criminal justice system, Mr. MacAdams led the organization with passion and a dedication that will leave a lasting, transformative impact on the lives of thousands of youth for years to come.
Mr. MacAdams passed unexpectedly on November 22, 2019. His life was celebrated in a beautiful ceremony at the Temple Emanu-El in Stern Chapel on December 20 in Dallas. We will continue to keep Mac’s loved ones foremost in our thoughts as they grieve through this difficult time. Our grief cannot compare to what his family must be feeling, and our hearts and prayers go out to them.
We are forever grateful for knowing and serving alongside Michael MacAdams. His legacy of generosity and innovation will forever be reflected in our hearts and programs. Read Mr. MacAdams’ obituary here.
