Join Youth With Faces at Maplewood for an elevated casino night featuring chef-curated food stations, classic casino games, special raffle prizes, and a student dessert competition—all in support of creating brighter futures for youth in our local juvenile detention system.

A Special Night of Mentorship

Youth With Faces prepares justice-impacted youth for successful futures through education, career training, mentorship, and reentry support. Our Culinary Arts & Hospitality program gives students hands-on experience, industry-recognized credentials, and opportunities to learn from chefs and hospitality professionals. (The 2026 chef line-up to be announced soon.)

On November 15, Youth With Faces culinary students will work alongside Dallas’s best chefs, including Matt Ford (Billy Can Can), Jared Harms, Duro Hospitality, Justin Valladarez (Truluck’s), and others. Guests will enjoy a generous selection of chef-prepared, handheld dishes from featured culinary stations—perfect for mingling and casino play.

High-Stakes Student Dessert Competition

The evening will end on a sweet note with a student dessert competition. Guided by Youth With Faces chefs Alexis Baker and Charlicia Harper, student teams will create desserts for guests to sample before casting their vote for the winning creation.
