Dr. Jazminda Ryan Leads North Texas Program Expansion
Youth With Faces is excited to welcome Dr. Jazminda Ryan to lead program expansion in North Texas. Dr. Ryan comes to Youth With Faces with more than ten years of experience directing and managing large scale programs including programs that connect opportunity youth and justice-impacted youth to consistent positive experiences and role models.
Prior to joining Youth With Faces as program manager in January 2022, Dr. Ryan previously served in program management roles at Communities Foundation of Texas, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Florence Criterion Services, the Housing Authority of Maricopa County, Big Brothers Big Sisters, among others. She has designed processes to manage a sensitive, diverse and successful program serving teens from underrepresented communities facing a number of traumas.
Dr. Ryan celebrates the motto, “It doesn’t matter where you come from, what matters is where you are going.” And as she leads programs for Youth With Faces, she hopes young people in our local justice systems gain the confidence and skills to find pathways to success as they re-enter their communities.
“Once you meet Jazminda, you instantly see her passion to create equitable opportunities for youth who have faced tremendous adversity,” said Chris Quadri, Youth With Faces CEO. “Jazminda is a thoughtful leader who brings equal parts compassion and diligence to her work. We are excited to have her lead our expansion efforts in North Texas.”
Over the next year, Dr. Ryan will expand robust and sustainable programs in North Texas, giving justice-impacted youth in the northern part of the Metroplex access to college and career readiness, industry-recognized certifications, volunteer programs and re-entry support.
“I am extremely excited to be charged to lead this work. I have made it my mission to be a role model and to help opportunity youth see their potential and know that other outcomes are possible.”
Dr. Ryan recently completed her Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership and holds a Master of Public Administration Degree, both from Grand Canyon University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Santa Clara University in California. She has also completed Social Emotional Learning (SEL) training, Humble Leadership training and CITI training in Responsible Conduct of Research and Human Research.
